Holiday Well Wishes

Dear Friends:

During this holiday season, I wish to thank you all for your activism during 2009. We can ill afford to stop now!

As we are heading into the local election cycles - Please research your candidates before casting your vote. Remember the wolves in sheep's clothes - they are hovering all around us.

Please remember that your Local CLC holds endorsement screenings for a reason - to weed out these wolves! All members may participate in the screenings by sending their questions and issues to your Local CLC Executive Board and by attending the screenings.

I would like to thank my family for their support in allowing me to participate in all I do for you. Without this - I would not be able to protect working families job, their benefits, and organize support for the many injustices we face on a daily basis.

I would like to congratulate my wife for her successes personally and professionally this year:

• Passing her State Survey at the clinic with rave reviews
• Co-Chairing the DPW Women's Caucus
• Appointment to the Gateway Technical College's Advisory Board
• Appointment to Workforce Development's 7 County Advisory Committee
• Becoming a grandparent and loving it!
• Elected Secretary of Democratic Party of Racine County
• Co-Creator of Pod Castings which focus on "Women in Politics"

It has been a busy year for our family and I hope that you have a safe and joyous holiday season and remember that every vote counts, including yours!
